Hospodárske noviny (CZ) brought an article about GEVORKYAN, a.s., in which they discuss its technological know-how, its activities in the field of defence industry and its ability to respond to the changing needs of the European market.
V interview it is discussed that GEVORKYAN does not manufacture weapons, but supplies components that must meet high demands for accuracy, durability and reliability. The development of materials, cooperation with customers at the design stage and the ability to take some of the technological risk in the development of new solutions are also important topics.
It also explains why local suppliers, fast delivery and efficient production technologies are becoming increasingly important in a period of industrial and geopolitical change. At a time when European companies are increasingly concerned with supply chain security, localising production and reducing dependence on distant markets, GEVORKYAN’s capabilities and know-how play an increasingly important role.
The area of ballistic protection, ceramic materials and components usable in the defence industry is also gaining ground. The article shows how the company’s many years of experience in powder metallurgy and the development of special materials are translated into new projects and applications with high technical requirements.
