Rising costs, pressure to improve efficiency, geopolitical uncertainty, and changing customer requirements are forcing manufacturing companies to reconsider established practices. According to Artur Gevorkyan, relying on the mindset of “this is how we have always done it” is no longer enough. Companies that want to remain competitive must be prepared to invest in automation, artificial intelligence, new technologies, and further development.

In the interview, he also explains GEVORKYAN’s approach to expansion and the challenges associated with the company’s growth. While many European companies are responding to uncertainty primarily by cutting costs, GEVORKYAN continues to invest in the automation of production and management processes, the use of AI, and the expansion of its activities.

Another important topic of the interview is the role of people in manufacturing. A company’s greatest competitive advantage may not necessarily be its machines or technologies, but rather the ability of its people to respond to change, embrace new solutions, and continuously adapt to new conditions.
Artur Gevorkyan also discusses the future of Slovak engineering and explains why the growth of the defence industry alone is not enough to ensure its long-term competitiveness.

Read the full interview on TREND.sk.

In a new interview for TREND.sk, Artur Gevorkyan, founder and Chairman of the Board of GEVORKYAN, a.s., speaks openly about the current state of European industry, changing supply chains, and the factors that determine the competitiveness of manufacturing companies today.
